We're transforming the lobby into a community party space with DJ Niique. Come hang out with your friends and make new ones. Watch tango and hip hop demos and maybe learn a few steps with Motion Arts Center Dance Studio and Str8jacket talent. Experience the rhythm of Taiko drumming. A perennial favorite Library offering is Trivia Night and we're delighted to bring this experience to our party. Benefit attendees can register for one, two, or all three rounds of our Trivia Challenge led by our Librarians. Winners will receive tokens and, of course, bragging rights. Our asking moment will be facilitated by The Honorable Jackie Speier. Join us for a scintillating evening of food, fun, and philanthropy to benefit the San Mateo Public Library! — Ages 21+ as we are providing complimentary wine and beer "California Cocktail" Attire (relaxed & festive) — If you cannot attend but would like to support your Library, please do so at smplf.org. — Parking is free in the Library's underground garage which includes handicapped spaces and an elevator to the ground level. The garage will be open for the duration of the event, and will close by 9:15pm. — SMPLF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
